This Privacy Policy explains how personal data is collected and processed through the website godsorama.com in connection with the GODS-O-RAMA project.

At the current stage of the project, we only collect email addresses from people who voluntarily subscribe to receive updates about GODS-O-RAMA, including news, development updates, launch information, crowdfunding-related updates, and marketing communications.

At this stage, we collect only the following personal data:

  • email delivery or engagement data, once an email marketing platform is used;

3. Why We Collect Your Data

We collect and process your email address for the following purposes:

  • to send updates about the GODS-O-RAMA project;

  • to inform you about a future Kickstarter, Gamefound, or similar crowdfunding campaign;

4. Legal Basis for Processing

The legal basis for processing your email address for newsletters and marketing communications is your consent.

By submitting your email address through the subscription form, you agree that we may use your email address to send you GODS-O-RAMA-related updates and marketing communications.

At the beginning, the email addresses may be stored and managed directly by the current data controller, Zsolt Hajdu.

Later, we may transfer the email list to an email marketing service provider, such as Mailchimp or a similar platform, in order to manage subscriptions, send newsletters, automate campaigns, and handle unsubscribe requests.

Such service providers may process personal data on our behalf as data processors. We will only use service providers that provide appropriate data protection safeguards and contractual commitments.

If the selected email marketing provider stores or processes data outside the European Economic Area, appropriate safeguards will be used where required by applicable data protection law.

6. Future Transfer to a Company

The GODS-O-RAMA project may later be operated by a company or legal entity created for the purpose of managing the game, the crowdfunding campaign, sales, marketing, production, or related business activities.

If such a company is established, your email address and related subscription records may be transferred from Zsolt Hajdu to that company.

In that case, the company may become the new data controller, or may otherwise take over the management and storage of the email list. The transfer would only take place for the same or closely related purposes described in this Privacy Policy, such as GODS-O-RAMA project updates, crowdfunding updates, launch information, and marketing communications.

Before or at the time of such transfer, we will take reasonable steps to inform subscribers about the new data controller and any relevant changes to this Privacy Policy.
